Flex interval not working on my GH5

I recently discovered the awesome flex interval feature for holygrail timelapses. But unfortunately, I'm not able to test it out as it's not working. I set all my parameters but when I tap the shutter button in the app, nothing happens. The usual timelapse mode works perfectly fine, as the simple photo mode

Am I missing something when setting it up or is something going wrong here ??

I have the same issue with flex interval on lumix s1. The timelapse doesn’t start after pressing the shutter button
