Error 70 on Canon EOS 7D [moved] [solved]

Small update: I tested a C2 with the 7D last night, and it worked like a charm. It had Firmware version 2.0.3
If any of you have the 7D with an earlier Firmware version showing Error 70, please let us know.

I also got a 550D to work on the fix on Monday.

HannsGeorg: We'll try work out the bug on the 550D first, I assume it's the same one for the 60D. If it proves to be different, We'll get in touch with you ;-)

Here is an update to the err 70 on a Canon 7D

Issue: err70 on Unleashed unit while plugged into Canon 7D upon power up

Fix: updated firmware ( Usa.Canon.com ) to firmware 2.0.6

By updating to this firmware the 7D no longer exhibits err70...

Still testing remaining functions of the unleashed...
