6D doesn't have a built-in intervalometer like the new version of mark2.

Will the UNLEASED timelapse and intervalometer functions work without installing the Magic Lantern?

yes, the Unleashed works perfectly with the 6D, and does not require any firmware changes. In fact, the 6D has been one of our main development and testing cameras in our office. We test every feature as thoroughly as we can on the 6D.

The intervalometer functionality is built into the Unleashed, so you can use that to do interval shots with the 6D.
