I know there is a setting on Nikon cameras that allows you to set the time and date of the camera using the GPS data. I don't know if there's such a setting for Canon cameras. When this option is set, the camera will update its date/time when the Unleashed is using GPS.

However, there is a bug in the current version of the Unleashed that shifts the time into the future, so I wouldn't recommend using this option until the next update :)

The Unleashed does not set the timezone though, this is something you have to remember to do while travelling.

BTW: The Unleashed always sends the UTC time (ie without any timezone) to the camera, and this is also what gets stored in the photos, along with the camera's timestamp (including timezone). The camera function that sets the camera clock using the GPS time will use the UTC time from the Unleashed and the timezone setting that you set in the camera.
