Foolography Community

Hi,
I just received my N2, and realize that when it's in place,the cover for the ports stands must stand approx fully open. I hadn't thought about this before, and had expected being able to install and leave the N2 in place, but am now not sure.
How are other Nikon users handling this?
Putting in or taking out the N2 is fiddly as the space is limited, or maybe cos my fingers are too big.

If the open rubber flap is bothering you, it's very easy to remove entirely:
if you pull on the Flap carefully outward and downward at an angle, and wobbling it while you do so, the flap should just come off without breaking. Pulling it straight out might rip the smaller rubber tab that goes into the camera, but pulling it at an angle should work quite well.
