N1 Unleashed weather sealing

I have a Nikon D750 and the Unleashed N2. To protect it from the elements, I have covered it up as best I could with some pro-gaff tape.

I am considering upgrading to a camera with the more professional control scheme and 10-pin connector. From what I've seen, Nikon accessories that connect to this have a screw drive thread on the circumference of the connector, which mates with threading on the socket. This would be a very robust connection, and I believe they've done it this way to protect against the elements as well.

My question is very simple: doe the Unleashed N1 have this threading as well? I assume it would need it to have equal protection?

As far as I can see in this video, the N1 is not screwed into the port. So I guess that means there is no weather sealing either?

Is this perhaps planned?
