Video does not work on some Nikon cameras
- On some Nikon cameras (especially lower-end) starting video does not work. The app shows an error saying "Camera not set to Movie". It will ask you to change the live view selector to video and to set the g4 setting to record movies. The camera, however, does not support that setting and/or does not have a live view selector. (FIXED)
- On other Nikons, the camera starts Liveview and immediately stops it again rather than starting a recording. This is a bug and only happens when GPS is on when you try to start the video. Until we fix it, just turn off GPS to start video. (FIXED)
- Both iOS and Android apps may not send GPS data due to bad or no signal. This is not a bug, however, the apps do not yet show if it currently isn't sending data to the Unleashed. Without recent GPS data, your photos may not be geotagged. (FIXED)
- There are some reconnection issues in the iOS app. When your phone disconnects and doesn't reconnect automatically, the UNLEASHED will invalidate the last GPS data set received after a while. As a workaround, open the app shortly to make sure the UNLEASHED is connected before shooting to make sure your photos are geotagged.
- Videos may not be geotagged. (FIXED)
- The date and time in the pictures might slide in the future. (FIXED)
- The intervalometer (timelapse and auto exposure ramp modes) will stop automatically when the battery is too low. This is intended and gives you the opportunity to change batteries and continue your timelapse. However, the app doesn't yet display an error or warning to let you know why the timelapse is stopped.
- The video trigger might show wrong errors on some lower-end Nikon cameras.
- The app is not able to stop a video that was started from the camera.
- For example, aperture might say that the lens is locked or not available or shutter speed might say that the camera doesn't support it.

- For example, aperture might say that the lens is locked or not available or shutter speed might say that the camera doesn't support it.
- The app says that the camera is shooting when the shutter speed is set to BULB or T mode in Nikon cameras.
- The trigger gets stuck on Canon cameras when shooting in BULB mode when the camera says that you can only take one more picture. The only way to stop the shot is to turn the camera off and on again.
- The trigger gets stuck on Canon cameras when shooting in BULB mode when shooting from the main trigger in the multiple camera view (when you have more than one UNLEASHED enabled in the app). The only way to stop the shot is to turn the camera off and on again.
- The thumbnail UI might not be presented correctly under specific conditions.
- A thumbnail may become stuck downloading if the phone loses connection to the Unleashed while transferring a thumbnail. Not removable until app restart.
- The warnings icon won't show the warning when tapping it in the settings view from the timelapse/autoramp modes
- We fixed a lot of Error 70's during development, but only saw this once on a customer's camera at photokina. We're getting a 550D to find the cause and fix it.
- We just got a report that the same thing happens on a 60D
- We're trying to get a hold of a 5Dmk2 for tests, but expect to able to fix this quickly once we have one.
- The Trigger button is greyed out and the info "Photo trigger is not available - Card is full, read-only or faulty. Check SD card" is shown. This goes away as soon as one photo is taken with the camera, (card no longer empty). We're looking into it.
- The Unleashed does not have an option to change Auto ISO mode on Nikon cameras.
- The Unleashed reports a wrong model when connected to a Nikon D4.
- The Unleashed reports Unknown model and displays serial number when connected to a Nikon Z6 and Z7, which were not available at launch of the Unleashed.
- The apps show the same icons for Basic and Basic*, Norm and Norm*, and Fine and Fine*.
- The Unleashed allows changing the picture size when shooting RAW. The size should be read-only in this case.
- The Unleashed fails to reinitialize USB when it failed to initialize once before. For example, if Wi-Fi is enabled, the Unleashed can't talk to the camera (expected), but when Wi-Fi is disabled later, the Unleashed does not attempt to reinitialize the USB connection. As a workaround, turn off your camera for a few seconds and on again after disabling Wi-Fi.
- The Unleashed sometimes fails to end the shot when shooting with shutter speed set to "--" on Nikon D7100.
- The Unleashed sometimes downloads an image preview twice when a second SD card is used and the Secondary slot function is set to Backup.
- The Unleashed wrongly makes the image preview feature available when the USB cable is plugged into the Unleashed, but not to the camera.
- The Unleashed still reports setting errors as "Camera is off" if you have the app open for a while, but you're not using it, and then you turn on the camera. The error should be Unleashed is idle to save power.
