Firmware update "A" fails [solved - defective hardware]

Hi!

Got my unleashed today, but was not really able to make it work with my Nikon D5100.

Mobile app is able to connect via bluetooth, but doesn't let me do anything: either "unleashed is idle", or it is "still initializing".

I tried to update firmware multiple times, but it always successfully updates C and B part (different versions depending on app version), but always fails when updating part "A".

Right now I'm on
A: 0.0.0
B: 2.0.0
C: 2.0.0
...and I'm out of ideas what to do next :(

I tried android, android beta and IOS versions, reinstalled them several times, but result is the same.

Could you please help me

Hmm, that's odd, Sorry for the trouble.

could you tell me what the LED is showing when you're not yet connected via Bluetooth?

It blinks red frequently.
Before connect and soon after upgrade fails

Hi again!

Is there any hope for me?

This doesn't seem like a compatibility with my camera issue - there's something wrong with booting and firmware upgrade, so I'm assuming, the thing doesn't have a chance to even start communicating with the camera...

So I'm thinking, maybe I've got a defected thing?
If so, how do I change it? :)
