Do you plan to support the new Nikon D780 in the near future?

Hey Ernesto,
I haven't tested it personally, but I'm 99% sure the Unleashed N2 with the USB-C cable will work perfectly with the D780!
(in our online shop you can already choose the camera to select the correct combination, or also if you just want to buy a new cable if you already have the Unleashed N2)

In the meanwhile, I got my Nikon D780.
Yes the Unleashed N1 works perfect with the camera.
But for most things, the SnapBridge functionality will be sufficient, esp. for providing GPS information for the pictures. Only if you like to modify special camera settings, the Unleashed is ahead.
Best regards
Ernst

I assume you mean the N2? ;-)
btw, when you plug in the N2 (without the usb cable) and connect with the App, does it change from N2:123456 to N2:D780 ?
We've heard very negative feedback about geotagging using snapbridge: the location is usually very imprecise, and is updated very seldomly. Be sure to test it right before relying on it!

Yes you are right - I mean the N2.
I installed the newest firmware update.
I decoupled the N2, plugged it into the D780, coupled it newly and very strange: it shows now up as "N2: D6"
If I plug it back to the D750, it shows up as "N2: D750" (without new coupling)
If I then plug it back to the D780, it shows up as "N2: 003019" (without new coupling) - but it seems to work correctly.

Hi, thanks for that info! That's exactly why I asked ;-)
since we didn't have a D780 or D6 to test with yet, we had to take a guess at the IDs they use. Nikon increments the IDs more or less by release date, but more than once, the Flagship cameras have had an earlier ID despite being released later than another camera. This is probably because they do more rigorous testing, including field tests longer before their release dates. so they get their IDs long before they're released.
Anyway, we'll fix that in the next app update!
Thanks again!
