Re: Unleashed 2025 ?
Not part of the dev team but this product has been designed to be continuously updated over the time.
I have the 18” and the 22” model and 18” model is still getting firmware updates.
22” model will carry for longer naturally 🤙

Re: Nikon Z9, need manual for Holy Grail
Hey there team
I’m not part of the team as such but I can try help answer any questions about the unleashed to the best of my knowledge, been using them for a good few years now.
What exactly did you want to know about the holy grail features ?

Re: What is Flex interval in timelapse mode ?
Hey mate So if you were running a normal interval yes you’d want it set to 17seconds if your longest night shutter was 15seconds - 2sec buffer. But with flex you want to start lower than that as with it set to 17+ your telling the unleashed to have a 17second minimum interval and increase from there...

Re: Description of the Holy Grail Algorithms
Hey there mate So the EV 24hr smoothing works reading directly off your cameras exposure meter, trying to hold 0 ev as the median and ramping the settings around that which you can add + or - EV to compensate it. This works mostly ok on DSLR’s until sort of blue hour then goes haywire as the light m...

Re: Unleashed does not Ramp in Holy Grail Mode
Ohhh good shit mate 🤙 Yea so DSLR’s differ in their light meter when using the viewfinder. I went through this saga ages ago. You have to use the USB so the unleashed can read the photo data then select one of the LRT variants. The only bugger with that is you can only select one direction of LRT ra...

Re: Unleashed does not Ramp in Holy Grail Mode
Hey mate So how are are ya using the unleashed 22 on your D850 exactly ? In a DSLR it will work differently as the light meter won’t read true come sunset onwards. Well more blue hour onwards as such if your using it in optical viewfinder mode. So if you set the mode to 24hr smoothing the unleashed ...
Howdy from NZ foolography team. I’ve just seen the latest email go live, I’ve been checking my email and spam folders for a good while but I still didn’t see anything about a pledge manager or how to go about things 🤷♂️ Anyways hope things are going fairly well and the major stress is getting less....

Re: Auto ramp exposure after dark
Use your D750 in the LRT SUNRISE or SUNSET MODES as a DSLR light meter goes haywire approaching evening and dark. Those modes evaluate the photo luminosity values I believe and ramp off those. Your Z6 however meters straight off the sensor amd can legitimately run the 24hr mode with minimal fuss. It...
