Same issue on my 5dmk2, fw2.0.9, when the UNTEATHERED is connected the camera has a data delay in controlling the menus (like there is a clocking issue in the data on the USB bus... I've seen something similar when tethered once... I don't remember the exact cause but used a new cable and laptop and...
